Video + Photo
When I was a child, my dream was be a big filmmaker. I went to film school, but dropped out, then returned to school studying digital media. From there, I learned how to do a great number things, and I absolutely loved working with cameras.
As a result, I've built a career over the past decade working with cameras to capture events, tell stories, and empower my clients. I've been to so many events that I can't even count them anymore, and on a set I am tech expert. While remote work has caused me to shoot less, it nonetheless remains a strong skill and I do maintain and own my own equipment for live streams and media recording.
Examples of Video Production
With remote, digital work becoming a primary service requirement, I've found myself using cameras less and media generators more. Nonetheless, I am always going to be able to grab a camera and generate content myself, and that includes knowledge of filmmaking, lighting, sound recording, green screens, and more.
Photography
As camera technology developed over time, many videographers found themselves with digital cameras that also allow professional-quality photography. I consider motion-oriented media as my primary focus, such as with video or animation, but I do from time to time offer my services as a photographer. I pushed myself into photo skills so that I could offer these services.

This has been taken advantage of various clients, including being an event photographer for the City of Mason, a portrait photographer for Spring Grove Cemetery, and device photographer while at Cardinal Solutions. It is overall a useful skill to have and offer to clients.
