Daniel Sammons, Jr. was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. After a few amateur videos, he enrolled at the University of Toledo for Film/Video Production. Two years later, he transferred to University of Cincinnati | Raymond Walters College (currently UC Blue Ash) to study in the Electronic Media Technology program.
It was here that he developed a widespread skillset, eventually producing/editing the college's submissions to the College Movie Festival with What Ain't Yours in 2010 and Dark of Day in 2011. He also participated as a college mentor for the White House's "Get Schooled" campaign with Clark Montessori High School and spent his 2010 summer working as a Kroger Television Intern at The Kroger Company.
In his final quarter of school at RWC, he produced, directed, & animated Forever Gomer for his capstone project, which went on to win the Director's Award for the department. Daniel graduated with honors and over a dozen awards with an Associates of Applied Science degree. He is now preparing to attend the College of Design, Art, Architecture & Planning at the University of Cincinnati, where he will work towards a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts.
He is the founder of Green Chess Productions and has high hopes that it will eventually be in a position to produce feature length movies.
